I’ll be honest, this was a really difficult genre to put into a top 10, so here goes!
- Body Groove by Architechs feat. Nay Nay – Some say it’s the best Garage track of all time. I’m not so sure myself but it certainly finds itself in my top 10!
- Teardrops (Flava Mix) by Lovestation – I was already a massive fan of the Womack & Womack original from 1988 and whilst this has been covered many times over the years by a lot of artists, this Lovestation remix just hits the spot for me.
- Sunshine (Wookie Main Mix) by Gabrielle – Such a beautiful song already but this remix makes it a fantastic garage track. I just wish the vocal wasn’t so chipmunky.
- Thong Song (Artful Dodger Remix) by Sisqo – Artful Dodger’s production on this track makes it a great record to return to time after time.
- Just In Case (Dubaholics Remix) by Jahiem – It’s an old track but this remix gives it an edge which makes it one of those tracks that will make you want to stay up dancing instead of going to bed!
- Sambuca by Wideboys feat. Dennis G – A great intro to this makes it a great track to mix with and without a doubt, it’s a classic garage hit.
- Garage Girls (Sunship Radio Edit) by Lonyo – One of those tracks that, as soon as you press play, the dance floor goes crazy! Awesome song.
- Movin’ Too Fast – Artful Dodger & Romina Johnson – What’s not to love about this track?
- Sorry by Monsta Boy – It got the remix treatment from Joel Corry in 2019 but this is the original and is a real favourite of mine.
- Imagine (Asylum Remix) by Shola Ama – It doesn’t get much better than this one which is why it’s no surprise it’s the most popular requested Garage track. This is the Asylum Remix which is worlds apart from the original and it’s a proper dance-floor hit!
There are so many amazing garage tracks that unfortunately didn’t make my list and I absolutely understand that if you are a garage fan, this is probably the worst list of all time, however, in my defence, this is a list of the most popular tracks that fill dance floors at parties week in, week out.
If you enjoyed this list, be sure to check out the others in my blog and as always, if you need a DJ for your next party or event, I’d love to hear from you so fill in my short contact form. You can also email me directly at hello@ianforest.com or call/text or WhatsApp me at 07799 782764!
